The Hours and Preschool: KU Castlecrag Preschool has been established for over 60 years and has long held a reputation for excellence in the education and care of children aged 3-5 years old in the community. This 50-place preschool has been rated as Exceeding National Quality Standards and operates within the Castlecrag community centre, with free parking onsite as well as multiple bus stops close by on Edinburgh Road. This curriculum is interest based and child focused and views children as being independent, competent, capable and unique learners who have control of their own learning and environment. The service has a long standing “Yana Nura” bush program, so a interest in sustainability and bush programs is also highly desirable.
